The wild psyllid (Latin: Psylla fera) is a member of the Hemiptera order and the Psyllidae family. Often referred to as jumping plant lice, this species is primarily known for its association with wild fruit-bearing trees, though it can become a notable pest in commercial and domestic orchards if left unmanaged.

This pest mainly targets species within the Rosaceae family. The adults and nymphs damage the host plants by piercing the tissue and feeding on phloem sap. This feeding behavior disrupts the nutrient flow, resulting in stunted shoot growth and a reduction in the overall vigor of the trees.
