Description

Systematic position. The Musculous leafroller (Syndemis musculana) belongs to the order Lepidoptera, family Tortricidae. It is a widespread insect pest found throughout Europe and temperate regions of Asia, commonly inhabiting orchards, forest margins, and ornamental gardens.

Host plants. This species is highly polyphagous, meaning it feeds on a wide range of plants. The list of affected hosts includes various fruit trees such as apple, pear, plum, and cherry, as well as berry bushes like raspberries, currants, and blackberries.
