It causes significant damage to stored cereal grains such as wheat, corn, and barley, as well as processed items like flour and cereals. Biology and life cycle. The life cycle of Trigonogenius follows a complete metamorphosis, including egg, larva, pupa, and adult stages. Both larvae and adults exhibit high resilience in environments with moderate temperature and humidity.
