This species is a generalist feeder, known for damaging various crops including vegetables, ornamental plants, and fruit bushes. Its host range is quite broad, allowing it to thrive in diverse agricultural landscapes. The larvae are particularly voracious, consuming foliage and developing buds, which can significantly impact the health and yield of infested plants.
