It is particularly effective against diseases such as bunt, smut (both loose and covered), fusarium root rot, and various leaf spot diseases that can devastate crop yields. By creating a protective zone around the germinating seed, it prevents early infection, which is a major factor in maintaining plant vigor and density in the field.
