Clomazone

The mode of action of the product involves inhibiting the biosynthesis of photosynthetic pigments, specifically chlorophyll and carotenoids. Soil moisture is a critical factor: the herbicide requires sufficient moisture in the topsoil to activate, which ensures uniform distribution and uptake of the active ingredient by the weed root systems.
