Pentoxazone has found its widest application in rice cultivation. It effectively suppresses dangerous targets such as barnyard grass (Echinochloa spp.) and other weeds that compete with rice for nutrients and moisture during the initial stages of development, thereby preventing significant yield losses.

When using the product, it is critical to adhere to application rates and timing. Pentoxazone is most frequently applied within the rice protection system during the flooding of paddies, requiring precise control of water levels and correct solution concentration to ensure uniform distribution of the active ingredient across the surface.
