Sulfotep

By preventing the breakdown of acetylcholine, the substance causes persistent overstimulation of nerve impulses, leading to rapid paralysis and subsequent mortality of the targeted pest species shortly after exposure.

The substance has been widely utilized in greenhouse environments and for certain specialized crop protection programs. It is highly effective against a variety of pests that cause significant damage to plant physiology, including spider mites, aphids, whiteflies, and various species of thrips.
