Costa Rican Guava

The Costa Rican Guava (Psidium friedrichsthalianum), also known as "cas," is a fruit-bearing tree belonging to the Myrtaceae family. It is a small to medium-sized evergreen tree that produces highly aromatic, tart fruits. This species is distinct from the common guava and is particularly prized for its culinary versatility in its native regions.

Originating from the tropical forests of Central America, this plant is well-adapted to humid tropical climates.
