Italian honeysuckle

Italian honeysuckle (Latin: Lonicera x italica Tausch) is a deciduous climbing shrub belonging to the Caprifoliaceae family. This hybrid plant is highly valued for its vigorous growth habit and fragrant, tubular flowers that create a stunning visual impact in garden environments.

Botanically, it is a twining vine capable of reaching significant heights when provided with proper support structures. The leaves are typically ovate and may exhibit connate-perfoliate characteristics, where the leaves grow together around the stem.
