Upright goosefoot (lat. Oxybasis urbica) is an annual herbaceous plant belonging to the Amaranthaceae family. Formerly classified within the Chenopodium genus, this plant is widespread in temperate regions. While often categorized as a ruderal species or weed in commercial farming, it exhibits distinct biological characteristics and nutritional qualities relevant to ecological and small-scale agriculture.
