Tatra moor grass (Sesleria tatrae) is a perennial grass belonging to the Poaceae family. It is a compact, clump-forming plant known for its structural beauty and resilience, making it a popular choice for rock gardens and modern landscape design.

Native to the mountainous regions of Central Europe, specifically the Tatra Mountains and the Carpathians, this species has evolved in limestone-rich habitats. This background makes it exceptionally well-suited for rocky soils and alpine-style gardens where drainage is a priority.
