Amaranth variety "BUZAVA" is a decorative plant with red-bramble inflorescences that droop and have an elongated shape resembling a mace. The inflorescences have medium density and a length from 40 to 60 cm, which gives the plant an expressive and attractive appearance. The plant height varies from 50-60 to 80-115 cm, with a bush diameter of 30-40 cm. Leaves are green, elliptical, 10-15 cm long, and the central inflorescence stalk reaches 40-50 cm in length. The average number of inflorescences on one plant is about seven. Flowering begins approximately 45-55 days after sowing and continues until frost. To grow low-growing specimens, it is recommended to use seedlings sown early, which helps form compact plants. Tall plants are obtained by sowing seeds directly into the open ground in May - early June, at a depth of 2-3 cm. Seedlings appear 4-5 days after sowing, after which they need to be thinned. To maintain the plant's decorativeness, it requires regular feeding with complex fertilizers every two weeks, as well as timely watering, weeding, and soil loosening. The "BUZAVA" variety is characterized by drought resistance and relatively high resistance to diseases and pests, although it may be damaged by aphids at high humidity. The plant tolerates transplanting well and maintains its decorative qualities throughout the vegetation period. Thanks to its bright inflorescences and resistance to adverse conditions, amaranth "BUZAVA" is widely used for decorating flower beds and garden compositions, creating an effective and long-lasting decorative accent.
