Amaranth of the EMPeror variety is a high-yielding plant with a red corrugated stem and green leaves with a red underside. The inflorescences, of the amaranth type, have medium density, a vertical or slightly inclined arrangement, and are red in color. The seeds are yellow, disc-shaped with a glassy endosperm; the mass of 1000 seeds is 0.75 g.
