KINES

KINES is a new early-maturing and high-yielding industrial variety of grain amaranth, distinguished by intensive growth and adaptability to various soils. Plants reach a height of 130 to 170 cm, featuring green corrugated stems and leaves with entire edges devoid of betacyanin coloration. Inflorescences are lush panicles of medium density, 70-80 cm long, yellow in color, vertical or slightly drooping. The vegetation period lasts from 82 to 89 days, ensuring early maturity and the possibility of harvesting multiple crops per season.

The KINES variety is characterized by high productivity: green mass yield reaches 72.1 t/ha, dry matter output is 17.3 t/ha, and seed yield averages 3 t/ha. Seeds are white, disc-shaped with starchy endosperm; the mass of 1000 seeds is approximately 0.71 g. Crude protein content reaches 18.4% during the flowering phase, making this amaranth a valuable source of nutrients. Thanks to drought tolerance, salt tolerance, and high resistance to diseases and pests, the variety can be cultivated without pesticide use, allowing for the production of eco-friendly products.

The application of the KINES variety is diverse: mature seeds are used for flour production, amaranth grits, and high-quality oil suitable for food and therapeutic purposes. The forage crop is suitable for green feed, as well as raw material for silage and dehydrated feeds. The high technological adaptability of the variety makes it attractive for industrial cultivation in various regions.
