Description
Seedling of 2nd-3rd generation from self-pollination. Selected in 1986 by A.K. Skvortsov and L.A. Kramarenko. Originating institution — Main Botanical Garden. Included in the State Register in 2004 for the Central Region.
Medium-sized trees — 3-4 m tall, with moderate growth. One-year-old shoots are moderately branched. Flowers are the largest, 4 cm, white.
Fruits weighing 20-22 g, oval, with thick, hairy, yellow skin, often with slight blush. Flesh is orange, fairly firm, juicy, tender, tart-sweet, very tasty, with a distinct aroma, tasting score 4.5 points. Chemical composition: dry matter 16.1%, sugars 7.9%, titratable acids 1.6%, potassium content 315 mg/100g. Stone is not too large (10.0%), separates well, sometimes not completely clean due to fruit juiciness. Fruits are suitable for fresh consumption, and jams and compotes are of high quality. Good storability.
Early fruit ripening — at the beginning of August. Moderate but stable yield. Grafted plants enter fruiting on the 3rd-4th year after grafting. Good cold and frost resistance. Fruit production on all shoot types.
