Victory

The single-year cosmos variety VICTORY is an upright plant with a pyramidal bush, 60-65 cm high and about 20 cm in diameter. Leaves are red-green, smooth, and hairless. Stems are very sturdy; the central stem reaches 30-35 cm in length, while first-order branches are 25-30 cm, and second and third-order branches are 10-15 cm. Flower heads are double, flat-round, 8-9 cm in diameter, with about 25 blooms per plant. Ray florets are boat-shaped of medium length with a cream base color and an additional purple tint; tube florets are yellow and short. The floral scent is weak. The vegetative period from growth start to flowering onset is about 120 days, with flowering beginning in late August and continuing until the end of September, maintaining decorativeness for 35 days. Mass flowering occurs around August 25. The variety is characterized by high resistance to adverse weather conditions, as well as to diseases such as fusarium and yellowing, making it a reliable choice for cultivation in various regions. VICTORY belongs to the garden group of peony-style cosmos and features moderate bush growth with strong foliage.
