KWS Thessa is suitable for producing high-quality grain and is also used in feed and beer production.
Barley plants of KWS Thessa have a medium-maturing vegetation period of 83-89 days and reach a height of about 60 cm. The variety is characterized by high drought resistance (8 points) and resistance to major diseases such as helminthosporiosis, powdery mildew, various types of rust and spotting, ensuring reliable yield. Resistance to seed shattering is also high (9 points), which helps preserve yield during harvest.
