LG Casting winter barley seeds are elite, medium-maturing, two-row forage barley with high yield potential, reaching 8.5 tons per hectare. This variety is characterized by high thousand-grain weight and average plant height of about 85 cm, which contributes to good productivity and ease of harvest. LG Casting has lodging resistance level 7, winter hardiness 7, and drought tolerance 8, making it a reliable choice for various climatic conditions.

LG Casting is adaptable to different soils and preceding crops, simplifying its cultivation and allowing its use in various agrotechnical systems. The variety is recommended for cultivation in the Polissia, Forest Steppe, and Northern Steppe regions, as well as in Ukrainian regions such as Vinnytsia, Dnipro, Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Poltava, Ternopil, Kharkiv, Khmelnytskyi, Cherkasy, and Chernihiv. The seeding rate is 3.5 to 4.5 million seeds per hectare.

LG Casting exhibits moderate resistance to diseases, requiring standard agronomic practices to maintain crop health. Seeds are supplied in 40 kg bags, 2024 harvest. This barley variety is an optimal choice for farmers seeking high and stable yields of quality forage grain.
