With a height of 70–80 cm, this variety maintains an optimal balance between vegetative mass and reproductive organs. The short stature is not just a feature, but a resource allocation strategy: the plant avoids wasting energy on excess stem elongation, minimizing the risk of lodging during intensive nitrogen fertilization. This simplifies harvesting and reduces header losses.

Phytopathological defense

The variety's genetic profile is engineered to «block» the primary pathogens that typically lower barley yield potential in Ukraine. Resistance to helminthosporiosis, covered smut, and powdery mildew is deeply rooted in the line selection process. Utilizing this variety allows agronomists to minimize fungicide input during early vegetative stages, as the plant possesses an innate immune response against these pathogens.
