The winter barley "Skarb Palmyry," developed by the Plant Breeding and Genetics Institute, is designed for farmers who prioritize reliability in fluctuating weather conditions. Agronomic potential

The crop features an optimal plant height of 70–100 cm, ensuring efficient threshing while maintaining excellent resistance to lodging. With a short vegetation period (80–90 days), the barley successfully escapes the peak summer heat, utilizing spring moisture reserves to their maximum capacity. A thousand-grain weight of 44–48 grams, combined with a 12% nitrogen content in dry matter, yields high-quality grain suitable for both fodder and processing needs.

The variety shows robust immunity against key pathogens. Its strong resistance to brown rust and tolerance to helminthosporiosis and powdery mildew significantly streamline the fungicide spraying program.
