Description
Eureka is a warm-season variety intended for cultivation in open ground on well-lit areas with sandy-loam or light clay soils. Seeds are sown in May at a depth of 3-4 cm, with rows spaced 50 cm apart and plants spaced 20-25 cm apart. The vegetative period is 48-55 days to technical maturity and 85-100 days to full seed maturity. For an earlier harvest, seed pre-sprouting is possible, although plants require additional watering during early growth stages.
Eureka bean is versatile in use: young pods are used as asparagus beans for preparing first and second courses, salads, appetizers, and preservation; mature dry seeds are consumed boiled or stored for winter use. Thanks to its excellent flavor and beneficial composition, including vitamins C, E, and B-group vitamins, this bean variety is an excellent choice for home cultivation and culinary use.
