Description
Sowing of Mavritanka bean is recommended in late May – early June at a depth of 3-5 cm using a planting scheme of 50x10 cm. The yield of the variety is from 2.3 to 3.5 kg per square meter, which makes it quite productive with minimal care efforts. The plant adapts well to open ground conditions and requires supports for climbing shoots.
In terms of care, Mavritanka bean is undemanding, which is confirmed by practical growing experience: after planting and installing ropes for supporting shoots, the plant develops independently, without requiring complex care. Pods are harvested in the milky stage of maturity when they are still flat and grains are immature, which allows using them for freezing and preparing various dishes. The bean is excellent for frying with vegetables and eggs, demonstrating a pleasant taste and versatility in cooking.
