DIVNAYA

The highbush blueberry variety 'DIVNAYA' is a medium-sized bush with a height of 40 to 60 cm and a weak-spreading structure, making it convenient for planting in limited spaces and for forming dense rows. The branches are curved, light brown, and the medium-sized leaves have a matte surface and a convex plate with a wide base.

The berries of the 'DIVNAYA' variety are large, weighing from 0.6 to 1.1 g, dark blue with a bluish bloom. The taste is sour-sweet, without a pronounced aroma, which makes them suitable for both fresh consumption and processing into jams, syrups, or desserts. The variety is self-fertile, so it does not require cross-pollination, and its high winter hardiness allows for cultivation even in regions with severe cold.

The yield of the variety is high – the average yield for 1991-1994 was 43.0 c/ha, and during trials, about 0.4 kg/m² was noted. The variety is resistant to low temperatures (up to -42.9 °C), is practically not affected by diseases and pests. It is recommended to grow in peat or peat-sandy soils with optimal irrigation using fine-spray sprinklers. Thanks to its characteristics, 'DIVNAYA' is suitable for a wide range of climatic zones, including all regions for crop cultivation.
