The Aphrodite cabbage variety is a mid-season hybrid of white cabbage intended for cultivation in both open and closed ground. The vegetative period is 105-115 days, allowing for harvest at optimal times. The cabbage head weighs 3 to 4 kg, has an oval-round shape, and is dark green in color with a uniform, dense surface and a pleasant waxy bloom. This variety is distinguished by its excellent taste and is suitable for various uses: fresh consumption, pickling, processing, and long-term storage. The plant is powerful with a well-developed root system, ensuring its resistance to adverse conditions. The hybrid has high resistance to fusarium wilt, bacterial infections, and stresses, as well as medium leaf hardness, which helps effectively combat thrips. To maintain plant health, regular watering and pest treatment are recommended with an interval of 4-5 days during head formation, followed by increasing the interval to 7-10 days. Treatments should stop 2-3 weeks before harvest. The planting rate is 40,000 plants per hectare, ensuring high yields up to 100 tons per hectare. Aphrodite cabbage is characterized by good transportability and the ability to maintain its market appearance until April, making it a profitable choice for commercial cultivation.
