CHARODEY

White cabbage of the Charodey variety is a late-maturing crop with a period from germination to technical maturity of 145-152 days. The plant forms an elevated rosette of leaves, which have a small size, dark green color with a blue tint, a smooth and slightly wavy surface with a strong waxy coating. The head is inversely egg-shaped, very dense, partially covered, with grey-green coloration of the covering leaves and a whitish interior. The head mass ranges from 1.8 to 2.2 kg, ensuring high commercial yield at the level of 320-592 centners per hectare and commercial product output of 97-98%. The Charodey variety is distinguished by good taste qualities and high storability, which allows it to be used both fresh and for long-term storage up to 7-8 months. Among the advantages of the variety are heat tolerance, synchronized crop formation, and head uniformity, which makes it in demand for cultivation in the North Caucasus region. A short internal stalk and a long external stalk facilitate processing and head preparation for marketing.
