Description
The 'Dream' cabbage variety is a late-maturing, high-yielding hybrid of white cabbage of universal purpose. The heads have an oval shape, dark-green color with a waxy coating, are dense and juicy, weighing from 2.8 to 3.6 kg. Due to the high content of sugars and vitamin C, the cabbage differs in excellent taste qualities both fresh and pickled.
This variety is valued for its high yield, which reaches 70-80 tons per hectare, as well as for excellent storability and resistance to cracking. The Dream cabbage can be stored without deterioration of quality for 7 months at a temperature not exceeding 1 degree Celsius, which makes it ideal for long-term storage and use in the winter-spring period from December to May.
In addition, the variety has high cold hardiness and resistance to bacterial diseases, which ensures a stable yield even in unfavorable conditions. The cabbage is suitable for mechanized harvesting, which facilitates the collection process and increases cultivation efficiency.
