Fremont F1

Fremont F1 — an early-mid season hybrid of cauliflower, intended for cultivation during spring-summer and summer-autumn periods. The vegetation period is 70-78 days after transplanting seedlings, ensuring a short and efficient harvest period. The plant is robust, with a vertically positioned rosette of dark blueish-gray-green leaves, which contributes to excellent self-shading and prevents head yellowing.

The heads of Fremont F1 cauliflower are large, weighing up to 5 kg, deep, smooth, round, and very dense. They are distinguished by extra quality, unparalleled snow-white coloration, and are not prone to sprouting leaves. The hybrid exhibits high resistance to stress and heat tolerance, enabling it to form heads well even at high nighttime temperatures and withstand temperature fluctuations. These properties make it suitable for cultivation both under plastic cover and in open ground.

For successful cultivation of Fremont F1, a uniform moderate temperature within the range of 14-18°C is required, optimal for forming dense heads. At temperatures above 25°C, heads grow faster but become loose and light. The cauliflower is highly demanding in soil and air humidity, thus regular watering is necessary. The plant is sun-loving and does not tolerate shade. The hybrid is suitable for freezing, fresh consumption, and processing, making it a versatile choice for various purposes.
