Cabbage of the KUPCHIKHA variety belongs to mid-late varieties with a period from seedling planting to harvest of 115-135 days. Heads have a round or flat-round shape, are characterized by high density and a mass of 2.5 to 4 kg. The inner stalk is short, which contributes to the density and compactness of the heads. The variety is resistant to cracking, which ensures good transportability and a high marketability of the product, reaching 99%. The yield of the variety is high and amounts to more than 10 kg per square meter.

KUPCHIKHA is universal in application: it is excellent for fresh consumption, pickling and all types of processing. Thanks to its taste qualities and dense structure, cabbage can be stored in fresh form for up to six months without loss of quality. The internal color of the heads is whitish, which is characteristic of white cabbage of this variety.

For growing the KUPCHIKHA variety, it is recommended to use seedlings, sowing of which is carried out in the second half of March. Seedlings appear in 5-7 days, and the seedlings are ready for planting in open ground in 35-40 days after seedling emergence, in the presence of 4-5 true leaves. The seedlings need to be hardened and fed, the first feeding is carried out at the stage of two true leaves, the second - a few days before planting. Planting of mid-late varieties is carried out according to a 60x60 cm scheme. Care of plants includes regular loosening, weeding, abundant watering and 2-3 feedings during the growing season. Good predecessors for cabbage are legumes, cucumbers and potatoes.
