Broccoli cabbage Steel F1 is a mid-late hybrid characterized by its versatility in cultivation across different seasons: in spring, the vegetative period is 85-88 days, in summer — 67-72 days, and in autumn — 78-83 days. This hybrid is suitable for both fresh consumption and processing, making it attractive for various purposes. The plant is medium-height, compact, and upright, which facilitates care and harvest in open ground.

The heads of Steel F1 broccoli form dome-shaped, dense, and heavy blue-green heads with excellent flavor. The hybrid exhibits high resistance to hollow stem and mucous bacterial blight in early plantings, which enhances both quality and yield. Additionally, the plant tolerates hot climates without reducing productivity and maintains marketable appearance when stored on the root, which is a key advantage for long-term storage and transport.

For optimal cultivation, recommended planting density is: in spring — 38,000 plants per hectare, in summer — 40,000, and in autumn — 33,000. The Steel F1 hybrid is also suitable for year-round cultivation, including seedling methods under plastic film. After harvesting the main flower heads, lateral shoots continue to develop smaller but sturdy flower heads, increasing overall yield.
