Broccoli cabbage SV 1002 BL F1 — a mid-season hybrid of Dutch selection from Seminis company, intended for growing in spring, summer and autumn periods. The vegetative period varies from 62 to 85 days depending on the season and growing conditions. The plant is distinguished by its compactness, well-developed root system and high stress resistance, which ensures a stable yield and adaptation to various climatic conditions, including hot climates.

The cabbage heads have a round shape, dense structure and rich green color with a bluish tint. They are partially covered with protective leaves and have medium unevenness. The weight of the heads ranges from 0.5–0.6 to 1–1.2 kg, diameter — 12–15 cm. Inflorescences are dense, with medium-sized beads, which gives them an attractive appearance and high taste qualities. The hybrid is distinguished by resistance to the sprouting of leaves and acquisition of an anthocyanin color, which helps maintain the commercial appearance and quality of the product.

SV 1002 BL F1 is recommended for growing in open ground with sowing rates of up to 38 thousand plants per hectare in spring and up to 40–42 thousand in summer. The hybrid is universal in application: suitable for fresh consumption, culinary processing and processing. The yield is well preserved on the bush, withstands transportation without loss of quality, which makes this variety attractive for commercial growing and sale.
