Amsterdamka carrot is an early-maturing table variety of Polish selection, maturing within 70-90 days after sowing. The root crops have a cylindrical shape with a blunt tip and a rich orange color, ranging from 14 to 20 centimeters in length and up to 165 grams in weight. The carrot flesh is tender, juicy, and sweet in taste, and contains a high amount of carotene, making this variety particularly suitable for baby food and juice preparation.

The plant forms a semi-loose rosette of leaves with bright green coloring and deeply dissected leaf blades on short petioles. The root crops are almost completely buried in the soil, which prevents them from greening. The variety is resistant to cracking and bolting, and also shows good resistance to diseases. When agricultural technology conditions are met, from one square meter you can obtain from 4.6 to 6.7 kilograms of marketable product.

Amsterdamka carrot is suitable for growing both in open ground and under film, and can also be planted in autumn to obtain an earlier harvest. It is versatile in application: it is excellent for fresh consumption, juice production, home canning, and culinary processing. The variety is recommended to be planted after cabbage, potatoes, cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, beets, and legumes.
