Krakow F1

Carrot Krakow F1 is an early-maturing, high-yielding hybrid with a cylindrical shape, featuring intensely orange roots, 18 to 25 cm long and about 5 cm in diameter. The roots have smooth skin, a pointed tip, and a small core, with uniform texture and dense, juicy flesh rich in dry matter and carotene. Root weight ranges from 200 to 400 grams, making them suitable for fresh consumption, processing, freezing, and preservation. Due to its high marketability and excellent taste, Krakow F1 carrot is popular in fresh markets and home cooking.

The vegetation period of the hybrid is approximately 110 days, enabling an early harvest. Plants form strong, dark green foliage up to 40 cm tall, resistant to diseases and bolting. Carrots show high resistance to cracking and breakage, allowing for mechanical harvesting without quality loss. Roots are not prone to greening or bolting, enhancing their appeal and storage life.

For successful cultivation of Krakow F1, sow in well-watered soil, maintaining a density of 0.8 to 1.2 million plants per hectare, avoiding overcrowding. Soil loosening, regular watering, and fertilization under the roots are essential. The hybrid is adaptable to various growing conditions and soil types, though following agronomic practices and crop rotation increases yield, which can reach 5-7 kg per square meter with proper care.
