Description
Natuna roots have a cylindrical shape with a blunt tip, measuring 20-22 cm in length and an average weight of 100 to 200 grams. Their vibrant orange color and smooth surface give the carrots an attractive appearance. Carotene content reaches 20 mg per 100 g, and sugar content up to 8%, ensuring excellent taste qualities. The carrots exhibit good storability, do not crack or break during mechanical harvesting, which helps maintain their marketable appearance and flavor.
The Natuna F1 hybrid is suitable for various applications: fresh consumption, thermal processing, canning, juice and purée production, as well as drying for seasoning. Seeds are suitable for planting both in open and protected ground, showing good performance across different climatic zones. The recommended planting density is 0.8-1.5 million seeds per hectare, ensuring optimal plant development and high yield.
