The Rex carrot variety is an early-maturing hybrid that combines the best qualities of the 'Flakke' and 'Kuroda' sortotypes. The period from the appearance of full seedlings to the beginning of the harvest is 105-110 days, which allows for a harvest in a relatively short time. The root crops have an average length of 15-18 cm, a conical shape with a blunt base, and a smooth surface. They are fully embedded in the soil, which promotes their quality formation and protection from damage.

The fruits are characterized by a saturated orange color, which almost transitions to a red hue, while the flesh and core have a uniform coloration. The mass of one root crop ranges from 105-190 g, making them convenient for mechanized harvesting and further processing. High sugar content (6.6-7.6%) and carotene (up to 14.5 mg per 100 g of raw substance) ensure excellent taste qualities and nutritional value, which is especially important for fresh consumption and culinary use.
