Description
Red clover (Trifolium pratense) of the Permsky Local variety is a late-maturing, single-cut variety with a dense and semi-spreading bush. Stems of medium coarseness and 50-80 cm in length possess strong branching, while leaves are large with elongated-oval and slightly hairy leaflets. Inflorescences have a spherical shape of medium density with flowers of red color of varying intensity. Seeds differ in diverse coloring — from yellow-green to violet. The maturation period is 115 to 130 days, while flowering occurs 60–91 days after spring regrowth.
The Permsky Local variety is characterized by good winter hardiness, varying from medium to high, and medium drought resistance. Pests and diseases, such as fusarium and anthracnose, affect the plant to a medium degree. Dry matter yield in variety trials reaches 77 centners per hectare, while seed yield ranges from 0.8 to 1.3 centners per hectare. The mass of a thousand seeds varies from 1.6 to 1.8 grams.
Seeds of Permsky Local clover are released with purity of not less than 92% and germination of not less than 75%, as confirmed by certificates of conformity. They are intended for sowing in the Volga-Vyatka climatic region, which includes Kirov, Nizhny Novgorod, Perm, Sverdlovsk regions and other territories. Seeds are packaged in big-bags and are available for wholesale purchases for both retail stores and private individuals at advantageous prices with the possibility of discussing packaging and delivery.
