Description
The clover grass variety STODOLICH is a bi-cropped tetraploid variety included in the State Register for the North-Western and Central regions. The plant is characterized by medium flowering time, medium height and stem thickness, as well as a medium number of internodes. The leaflets have medium length and width, while many plants have white markings on the leaves. The inflorescences are red in color, and the seeds are multicolored.
The dry matter yield of the STODOLICH variety during the test years averaged 76.8 c/ha in the North-Western region and 58.2 c/ha in the Central region, which corresponds to the standards level. The plant has weak stem pubescence and medium thickness, which contributes to its adaptation to growing conditions in the indicated regions. However, the variety is susceptible to clover scab infection, which should be taken into account when selecting agronomic measures.
STODOLICH is primarily used for obtaining high-quality feed raw material due to its stable yield and medium flowering period. The morphological features and inflorescence coloring make this variety recognizable and convenient for identification in crops. Despite susceptibility to some diseases, the variety maintains good productivity indicators and is suitable for growing in moderate climate zones.
