Description
The hybrid's grain is dent-type, with a yellow color at the top, containing more than 72% starch, making it valuable for various purposes. The ear has 14-16 rows, with 26-28 kernels per row, and the 1000-kernel weight varies from 300 to 320 g. High yield potential is supported by disease and stress resistance: drought tolerance is rated 8, lodging resistance 9, helminthosporiosis resistance 8, bacterial blight resistance 9, and Fusarium resistance 8.
DKC 3759 can be sown at soil temperatures as low as 10 °C, extending the sowing window. Recommended planting density depends on the moisture level of the region: 60,000-70,000 plants per hectare under unstable moisture conditions and 70,000-80,000 plants per hectare under adequate moisture. The hybrid responds well to both conventional and minimal soil tillage methods and is suitable for monoculture cultivation. Rapid moisture release at maturity simplifies harvesting and improves grain quality.
