This hybrid features strong initial growth energy and high yield potential, enabling yields of up to 13.8 tons of grain per hectare at 18% moisture. The grain type is dent, and its primary use is grain. DKC3402 is recommended for cultivation in steppe, forest-steppe, and meadow zones, confirming its versatility and adaptability to various climatic conditions. The hybrid is well-adapted to light soils and can successfully grow on all soil types with medium to high mineral nutrition levels. It is resistant to cold and drought, as well as resistant to Fusarium stalk and ear rot. Conventional or minimal tillage is recommended, and soil temperature at sowing should not be lower than 8°C. DKC3402 can be grown in monoculture, but timely harvest is required to avoid losses due to lodging. The hybrid is intended for regions with sufficient but unstable moisture, with optimal planting density varying depending on moisture availability: from 65,000 to 75,000 plants per hectare.
