Hybrid sweet corn DKC4082 is a high-yielding plant with high resistance to common corn diseases such as common smut and Fusarium of ear and stalk. It features a strong stalk and good drought tolerance, ensuring stable yields under various climatic conditions, including steppe and forest-steppe regions. The plant reaches a height of 245–265 cm, with ear attachment height of 90–100 cm, and kernel count per ear ranging from 560 to 770, contributing to high productivity. The average 1000-kernel weight is 250–340 g, with dent-type kernels and 14–18 rows per ear.

The hybrid is suitable for cultivation under various agronomic technologies, including conventional, minimum tillage, and No-Till systems. It can be sown at soil temperatures as low as 9 °C, extending the sowing window. Recommended planting density depends on moisture conditions: 55,000–60,000 plants per hectare in dry areas and 70,000–75,000 plants per hectare in well-watered zones. DKC4082 is suitable for monoculture, though under minimum tillage on heavy soils, root system development may be problematic.

The primary purpose of the hybrid is silage production, as well as for bioethanol and biogas. Thanks to its good water shedding and high cold tolerance, the hybrid demonstrates stability and reliability under various growing conditions. The FAO maturity rating is 320, indicating a medium maturation period and enabling efficient use in agronomic systems with different climatic characteristics.
