DKS 2972 is a universal corn hybrid designed for grain and silage production. It belongs to the mid-early maturity group (FAO 300) and is characterized by high yield, reaching 13-16 tons per hectare at 14% moisture. Plants have medium height — from 230 to 350 cm, with a well-developed root system and broad leaves, which promotes rapid water release and good adaptation to various soil-climatic conditions. The kernel type is dent-flint, with row numbers from 14 to 18 and kernels per row from 30 to 38, ensuring high starch content — over 72%.

The hybrid exhibits resistance to stress factors, including low and high temperatures, drought, and lodging, making it a reliable choice for various growing regions. It shows high tolerance to common corn diseases such as bacterial blight, helminthosporium, fusarium, and other pathogens, ensuring stable yields and reducing the risk of losses. Plants have an ear attachment height of 80-90 cm, facilitating harvesting and improving grain quality.

Recommended for cultivation on all soil types with conventional and minimum tillage methods, including No-till and Strip-till. The optimal soil temperature for sowing is 7-8 °C, and the seeding rate varies from 70,000 to 90,000 plants per hectare depending on moisture.
