Description
The hybrid demonstrates high tolerance to common corn diseases such as fusarium, rust, and helminthosporium, as well as good cold resistance and drought tolerance. Grain moisture loss during maturation is high, facilitating harvesting and reducing yield loss. Resistance to lodging is moderate, and the probability of double ear formation per plant is low.
DKS 3361 is recommended for cultivation in the Polissia and Forest-Steppe zones of Ukraine, under conditions of sufficient but unstable moisture. The optimal planting density is 70-75 thousand plants per hectare under sufficient moisture and 65-70 thousand under unstable conditions. Soil temperature at planting should not be lower than 9 °C, and soil preparation may be conventional or minimal. The hybrid is versatile in application: suitable for grain, silage, as well as for bioethanol and biogas production.

Dual-purpose hybrids: for silage and grain in all growing regions. These are "stay-green" type hybrids, meaning the plants remain green for a longer period. However, this does not affect the sugar, cellulose, and hemicellulose content, nor the degree of lignification of the plant... |
