DKS 4792 — a mid-season corn hybrid for grain use, with high yield potential and versatility. This hybrid is suitable for both grain and silage purposes. Plants reach a height of 240–260 cm, have a stout stem, and cylindrical-conical ears up to 24 cm long and 4.5–5 cm in diameter. The maximum number of kernels per ear can reach 820, with dent-type, yellow kernels. Yield of the hybrid is 16–20 tons per hectare at the recommended planting density of 50,000–70,000 plants per hectare, depending on moisture levels. Hybrid DKS 4792 exhibits resistance to lodging (both root and stem), drought, and major corn diseases such as rust and Fusarium. Seeds are treated with Acceleron® technology, providing additional protection and promoting successful adaptation of plants to various climatic conditions.
