Gran 6

Gran 6 is a plastic mid-early hybrid of sugar corn for grain use with FAO 300, intended for cultivation both as grain and silage. It is characterized by high cold resistance and rapid growth rates at the beginning of vegetation, ensuring stability and high yield under various climatic conditions. The hybrid has increased starch content and very rapid moisture loss after physiological maturity, facilitating harvest and improving crop quality.

Gran 6 seeds are coated with a complex of protective agents, including fludioxonil and metalaxyl-M, as well as microfertilizers and growth stimulants, promoting good germination and plant development. Packaging is done in three-layer paper bags of 1 p.o., ensuring seed preservation during storage and transport. The hybrid is resistant to major diseases and stress factors: helminthosporiosis, fusarium, blister rust, lodging, and drought, as confirmed by high resistance ratings on a scale of 7 to 8.

Morphologically, Gran 6 has a cream-colored, toothed kernel, plant height of about 260 cm, and ear attachment height of 98 cm. Yield potential reaches 159 c/ha. Recommended plant density varies by region: for Polissia — 80-90 thousand plants per hectare, for forest-steppe — 65-80 thousand, for steppe — 60-70 thousand plants per hectare. All these features make Gran 6 a universal and reliable choice for farmers aiming to achieve high-quality corn yields.
