Reliable French hybrid with high Fusarium resistance and stable grain quality.
Description
Stable yields with minimal risks
When selecting a hybrid for commercial grain, many farmers prioritize not just potential yield, but also a "safety net" against field diseases. Hendrickx corn by R2N is a solution for those who plan their season with protection against Fusarium in mind—a disease that often becomes a major headache during harvest time.
Agronomic features
This is a simple hybrid with flint-dent grain. Visually, this combination provides high test weight and excellent grain output during threshing. For the combine operator, this means fewer issues with separation and cleaning, as the grain releases cleanly from the cob.
- Sowing density: On poorer or drier soils, we target 68,000–72,000 plants/ha; in fertile areas with sufficient moisture, we can safely reach 72,000–75,000 plants/ha.
- Resistance: The key factor is high resistance to Fusarium. While this doesn't replace the need for fungicidal protection, the hybrid holds up well under stress, maintaining crop quality until the machinery hits the field.
Experience shows that Hendrickx from R2N consistently delivers results. French breeding from RAGT 2n (originators Bruno Lefevre and team) provides predictable performance: when following the proper technology and density, the hybrid does not lodge and does not require excess drying costs due to high grain moisture at maturity.

Dual-purpose hybrids: for silage and grain in all growing regions. These are "stay-green" type hybrids, meaning the plants remain green for a longer period. However, this does not affect the sugar, cellulose, and hemicellulose content, nor the degree of lignification of the plant... |
