KOLJAS

Corn KOLJAS is a grain hybrid with FAO 210 developed by KWS. This hybrid is characterized by high plasticity and stable yield under various soil-climatic conditions, including sandy soils. It exhibits cold tolerance during early development stages and well-tolerates summer heat and drought, making it a reliable choice for diverse growing regions. Plants have a strong root system that ensures access to nutrients and moisture, as well as prevents lodging and stem breakage, with a height of 270-280 cm. The ear forms at a height of 90-100 cm and contains 14 rows of kernels with 33-34 semi-mature kernels per row, with a 1000-kernel weight of 320-330 g. Thanks to its slender stalk, the grain yield at harvest reaches 82-84%.

Hybrid KOLJAS is recommended for planting according to the region's water availability: under sufficient moisture, the plant stand rate is 75-90 thousand per hectare, and under water scarcity, it is 65-70 thousand per hectare. This allows optimizing yield and adapting cultivation to specific conditions. KWS seeds, including hybrid KOLJAS, are certified and have undergone large-scale laboratory and field trials, confirming their quality and reliability.
