Description
Corn KR 1330-6 MV is a mid-season hybrid created based on 12 new autotetraploid lines with high grain productivity. Studies have shown that hybrids of this variety have grain yields ranging from 60.7 to 68.3 centners per hectare, significantly exceeding standard indicators by 9.1–16.7 centners. Special attention was paid to morphological traits and combining ability of the lines, as well as their reaction to cytoplasmic male sterility, which confirms the high selection value of the variety.
Corn KR 1330-6 MV is characterized by universal use and high plasticity, allowing its use both for grain production and for silage preparation. Plants form strong stalks reaching considerable height, which contributes to the formation of large ears with a high number of rows of kernels. Kernels are characterized by high milling efficiency and good thousand-kernel weight, ensuring high efficiency in processing and storage.
The variety exhibits resistance to major diseases and adverse weather conditions, including temperature fluctuations and drought. A strong root system and dense stalks provide resistance to lodging, while high field germination rate at early sowing promotes rapid early plant development. These qualities make KR 1330-6 MV a reliable choice for cultivation in various climatic zones, ensuring a stable and high yield.

Dual-purpose hybrids: for silage and grain in all growing regions. These are "stay-green" type hybrids, meaning the plants remain green for a longer period. However, this does not affect the sugar, cellulose, and hemicellulose content, nor the degree of lignification of the plant... |
