KV 2704 is a sweet corn variety particularly recommended for cultivation aimed at producing highly digestible and energetic silage. It is distinguished by its resistance to adverse climatic and soil conditions, including spring frosts, as well as its ability to tolerate periodic water shortages. Plants of this variety reach a height of over 270 cm and are characterized by prolonged retention of green color in stems and leaves, which contributes to high yields of green mass with good digestibility.

The KV 2704 variety exhibits good resistance to root lodging and Fusarium of the base and stalks, enhancing its reliability during cultivation. The corn kernels have a characteristic anthocyanin coloration, which is a distinctive feature of this variety. The potential grain yield is 120-140 ц/га, and silage mass yield — 350-450 ц/га, making it advantageous for agricultural production.

The optimal planting density varies depending on the region: in the northern zone, 60-65 thousand plants per hectare are recommended, in the central zone — 55-60 thousand, in the southern zone — 50-55 thousand, and when using irrigation — 75-80 thousand plants per hectare. Due to its drought resistance, disease and pest resistance, as well as high productivity, the KV 2704 variety is suitable for cultivation both for grain and silage, ensuring stable and high-quality yields.
