Description
One of the key features of KV 6 F 576 is its high drought resistance, which significantly exceeds average corn values. The hybrid can maintain normal growth rates even with insufficient irrigation, making it especially valuable for cultivation under limited water supply. After reaching physiological maturity, corn demonstrates very rapid water shedding, facilitating harvest and reducing yield losses. Strong plant structure ensures resistance to lodging, further reducing yield risks under adverse weather conditions.
The hybrid exhibits high resistance to major corn diseases such as helminthosporium, fusarium, and common rust, with resistance ratings of 7–8 points. This allows for reduced pesticide use and a healthier, higher-quality harvest. Recommended plant density varies by region: 80–90 thousand plants per hectare in the Polesie region, and 60–70 thousand in steppe zones. KV 6 F 576 is a reliable and productive hybrid combining high yield, stress and disease resistance, and adaptability to various growing conditions.

Corn hybrids are classified by maturity groups and by the FAO number. All corn hybrids are distributed according to the FAO scale. Under Central European conditions, a difference of 10 FAO units between hybrids results in a 1-2 day difference in their maturity. The higher the FAO... |

Dual-purpose hybrids: for silage and grain in all growing regions. These are "stay-green" type hybrids, meaning the plants remain green for a longer period. However, this does not affect the sugar, cellulose, and hemicellulose content, nor the degree of lignification of the plant... |
