Description
The KWS KASHADO hybrid exhibits high adaptability and is suitable for cultivation under both intensive and extensive technologies, including irrigated conditions. It is resistant to lodging, which helps preserve yield and facilitates harvesting. Rapid kernel moisture loss allows timely harvest and reduces risks of quality loss. Recommended plant density at harvest depends on water availability: in well-watered zones — 70–75 thousand plants per hectare, in moderately watered zones — 55–65 thousand, and in water-limited zones — 45–50 thousand plants per hectare.
Hybrid seeds are supplied in bags of 80,000 units, treated with the two-component insecticide seed treatment FORS ZEA and the seed treatment MAXIM XL, providing protection against pests and promoting successful germination. Recommended cultivation zone includes the Polissia, forest-steppe, and steppe regions, making KWS KASHADO a versatile solution for various climatic conditions. This hybrid combines high yield potential, lodging resistance, and adaptability, making it an attractive choice for farmers seeking stable and high-quality harvests.
